On duty 0600 Mon-Fri @ Henry Street Yard. Usually done around around 1-2 PM. North Yard Job switches North Yard, Fremont Customers, West Michigan Dock & Market (as required) & Sappi Fine Paper. On duty 0800 Mon-Fri @ North Yard. Waverly Turn / Z627 runs to Holland to interchange with CSX switching Bay Logistics/Shape Corp on the return trip tp Muskegon. On duty 2000 Sun-Fri @ North Yard. MMRR Muskegon-based Customers all customers serviced Monday-Friday unless otherwise noted Muskegon, MI Sappi Fine Paper | Sappi's Muskegon Mill is located on Muskegon Lake, the mill produces text and cover weight coated woodfree papers used in annual reports, brochures and catalogs. For the production of these products, Sappi receives inbound limestone slurry and kaolin/water mix (mineral clay) in tank cars; corn starch in covered hoppers and pulp wood in box cars. Outbound finished paper rolls are shipped in box cars. This Sappi paper mill was formerly SD Warren. Nugent Sand | Nugent mines sand from the Lake Michigan sand dunes and ships it out in CSX "shorty" covered hoppers. Most of this sand goes to the GM foundry in Defiance, OH, and generally 7-9 cars a day are shipped. Webb Chemical Service | Webb is a chemical distributor and receives tank cars loaded with: ammonia, caustic potash, caustic soda, denatured ethyl alcohol-anhydrous, hydrochloric acid, methanol, sulfuric acid, and sodium nitrite among others. Webb generally receives 1-8 cars. West Michigan Dock & Market Corporation | The "Mart Dock" warehouses wood pulp for Sappi Fine Paper's Muskegon mill as well as outbound paper rolls. The Mart Dock is serviced every couple days and usually gets between 1-4 cars. Brinks Tank Farms / Northern States Minerals | This tank farm is located a approximately 2 miles north of North Yard at the former Zepyhr Refinery site. They receive tank cars of nitrogen fertilizer solution and ammonium polyphosphate solution, respectively. Bayer Crop Science | Bayer is located just south of Berry Jct and receives tank cars of hydrochloric acid and ammonia-anhydrous and covered hoppers of fertilizer. Bay Logistics | Bay stores paper rolls for area newspapers. Bay is located between Pontaluna and Mt. Garfield Roads. Shape Inc | Shape makes rollerformed bumpers for the auto industry. Product is shipped from the Bay Logistics warehouse. Fremont, MI Fremont Co-op | Fremont Co-op receives tank cars of nitrogen fertilizer solution, covered hoppers of diamonium phosphate, and ships out covered hoppers of soymeal and corn. Grand Haven, MI Groeleer Hardware | Groenleer receives hoppers of potasium chloride for their hardware/fertilizer stores. They are located immediately north of the Ferrysburg swing bridge, near Verplanks.
