Grand Rapids Train History From the notes of Bob Michaels
All of the information on these pages is provided courtesy of Bob Michaels who has lived trackside and taken notes through the years presented. These pages would not exsist if it were not for his detailed notes, time, and dedication. These pages are rightfully so a way to document and admire his meticulous efforts, for everyone to see. Such efforts do not deserve to go unseen. Under the direction of Carl Shaver, Bob's writings were published in the C&O Historical Society Magazine into the 90's, until both ended their affiliation with the magazine. Bob's efforts continue to be published here on The Midwest Railfan as the paint lists and rosters remain up-to-date because of him.
